While always on the lookout for stock and documentary images, my ultimate goal is to capture unique standalone images with an artistic quality. I’ve chosen to offer a collection of my very favorite and unique images via a new medium that showcases the images perfectly — aluminum! After evaluating different options, I decided to work with Image Wizards, the pioneers in actually infusing images into aluminum, resulting in a luminescence that is unmatchted by paper prints. The detail and quality of light of these prints is compared by many photographers as being HDTV to the traditional TV of paper prints, and I think the qualities of Image Wizards’ aluminum prints is the perfect way to reproduce the vibrant colors, textures, and light of Costa Rica’s rain forests and cloud forests.

These aluminum prints offer another advantage; there is no added framing cost! I’ve opted to use Image Wizards’ unique frameless float mount for a clean, modern, and elegant display that makes hanging a snap. Image Wizards takes a piece of brushed .050" aluminum and bends the two outside edges to create a box like effect that mounts behind the imaged aluminum. This option floats your photographs 1 ½" off the wall. It has a lasered hanging hole to help you find your nail on your wall; you’ll be ready to hang just moments after you’ve unpacked your metal print from the engineered corrugated box!

I offer three sizes — 16 x 24", 20 x 30", and 24 x 36". If you need a bigger size print or are interested in multiple prints for a decorating project or exhibit, please contact me, and I’ll be happy to work with you.

As always, these are true photographs. The magic happens in the camera and in the field, not in the digital darkroom! That said, you can rest assured that all files are optimized by me using the latest software from Adobe — Lightroom and Photoshop.

Payment is processed through the PayPal gateway but you DO NOT NEED a PayPal account to check out. If you have a PayPal login and wish to pay through your account, fine. If you prefer to pay with your credit card without ever logging in to PayPal or if you don’t have a PayPal account, that’s just fine too!

Because of the high shipping costs (US $200 to $400) to Europe, I have decided not to offer direct ordering with shipping to this part of the world. If you live in Europe and would like to have a metal print shipped, please contact me, and I will be happy to work with you. European clients may consider shopping for these images at my print shop with ArtFlakes, the German-based print house that is becoming the best online art seller in Europe. You can expect your print within two to three weeks of ordering (these are high-end custom-made prints so ImageWizards doesn’t rush things!) if you live in the US and within approximately three to four weeks if you live in Canada.
